Marrakech Intense is inspired by the city’s intoxicating energy—its spices, hidden gardens and buzzing bazaars. A fable about curiosity told through scent, where an accord of Ylang Ylang, Neroli and Clove transports the wearer to sun-baked alleys, while the heady presence of Jasmine invites exploration.
All of this is contained in a newly redesigned bottle with an embossed Aesop insignia, and a pleasingly textured cap inspired by basalt—a rock on which our hometown of Melbourne was quite literally built.

Rooted in our long-standing reverence for literature and our namesake Aesop—the ancient Greek fabulist—the inspirations and emotions behind our fragrances are distilled into fable-like poems to pose questions through scent.
While no story should be judged by its cover, the Fragrant Fables arrive in pleasingly tactile bottles, with a new textured cap inspired by basalt rock native to our home city of Melbourne, and an embossed insignia on the amber glass.
Every online purchase of a 50ml and 100mL fragrance comes with a sample to try before you uncork the full bottle.
Many of the Aesop product packaging components are recyclable. We recommend disassembling (removing product labels, pumps and caps) and sorting the components. Product bottles and jars may be recycled. Product labels, pumps, pipettes and caps should be placed in the waste bin. Pumps and pipettes may also be reused. Paper packaging is made from FSC® certified stock. Please remove this component and place in the recycling bin.
How to use
Apply as desired to wrists and neck. Throughout the day, the aromatic profile will develop—bright and robust tones prefacing a sophisticated base. Layer with complementary Aesop hand and body care formulations to enhance the aroma.
